How much to hire a wedding magician

I’ve been thinking recently about hiring a wedding entertainer for my wedding and wondered,was curious what would be a good choice. I’ve looked at various ideas but the one that keeps coming back to me is a wedding magician. I recently attended,went to a wedding where a magician was reading people thoughts and he was absolutely amazing. However, I’m a little clueless as to the prices of booking a magician. I’ve been told that I should expect to pay at least £450 for a top class entertainer and anything less could be hit and miss. Would really like some feedback. Thanks.
