A lot of us have grown up enjoying the 1939 motion picture The Wizard of Oz. Today the MGM classic has been reinvented on stage in the Broadway musical Wicked. Wicked the Musical is the untold tale in regards to the witches of Oz. Based mostly on the 1995 novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire, the storyline develops prior to Dorothy Gale’s arrival to Oz. Wicked explains the storyplot of a pair of unlikely acquaintances whom grow up to turn into the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch of the North.
