Asthma signs and symptoms are easily recognizable and should never be ignored. If you have been diagnosed with asthma already, knowing and understanding these signs and symptoms can mean the difference between the severity of the episode and being able to get to your medication in time. For those that have not experienced asthma before, these signs and symptoms will give you a warning that it is time to seek out professional care. Breathing changes are the number one sign and symptom of asthma. This may include wheezing, coughing, tightness in the chest, or difficulty breathing. Some asthma sufferers experience episodes of sneezing, headaches, weakness, coughing, runny nose and eyes, and the inability to function because of feeling fatigued.
