Really, drinking water can help lose weight!

Though few people realise it, a huge proportion of our body is made up of water. Therefore, water can be very effective as part of our weight loss strategy. Water plays a very essential role in our body such as 75% as muscle tissues,80% as blood,body fat and bone accumulate 20% of water on it.
Slowly but surely you will lose weight if you eat and drink the right amounts of food for your body. While drinking more water is beneficial, it is not going to help you lose weight if you don’t reduce your food intake as well.
Remember the negative fats are the main problems that make you gain weight – rather eat positive fats that contain essential fatty acids like Salmon, Mackerel, Herrings and Sardines. Omega 3 oils and essential fatty acids food provide a great help in reducing the chances of heart attack, decrease the blood pressure and prevent the blood clotting.
Positive proteins are great for your body – they help in building muscle and work as an appetite suppressant. Good proteins are contained in fish and low fat milk foods like skimmed milk, yogurt and cottage cheese.
Carbohydrates such as beans, vegetables, fruits, and whole grains will help you to loose weight considerably and it provides calories and reduce the feel of hunger.
Foods rich in fibre are low in calories, yet very filling. A diet with adequate fibre can help suppress hunger. Additionally, one of the key benefits of fibre is that since it does not get broken down easily by stomach acids, it removes proteins and fats from our body before they can be digested. Some great fibre rich foods you should be eating are beans,nuts,bran,brown rice,
broccoli as well as fruits like figs,apples and strawberries.

When your body is dehydrated, it often tricks your brain into thinking your are hungry when you are actually thirsty. By drinking plenty of water, you will be more likely to eat only when you are hungry and not fall for this biological sabotage. The liver uses the fats we have stored for energy and water supports our metabolism when the kidneys wash out waste. A lot of people are shocked by the fact that consuming water can decrease your body fat. Drinking ice cold water consumes 60 calories daily, or 420 per week, just to increase the temperature of the water to meet that of your body! What an excellent method of burning those calories!
