So much data about all of us is potentially a click away from being found, much is available in the public domain and is not actually secret, and this applies to you, me and famous people equally. Many media personalities and politicians who ironically court publicity and then get upset when it goes against them. Research gets easier though, anyone can run background checks and reverse phone number lookup & investigations to find this information themselves. All manner of information is available public and civil databases criminal records and more. With politicians you need to be especially careful as they have gotten where they are by being interested in their own career, not necessarily the people they claim to represent, although this synical view is not applicable to all.
